Tucked away in the pine-lined forests of western Maine, Santosha, a Gilded Age Estate, slopes gracefully down to the shores of the wild Carrabassett River. We invite you to join us this summer at this spectacular location to relax, connect with yourself, and deepen your practice.
This is the ideal setting to slow down, re-align and re-energize physically, mentally and emotionally. Without the distractions, responsibilities and stresses of daily life, touch the depth of your practice, gain perspective, and weave new insight into the way you live your life.
We will lead two daily extended yoga classes suitable for all levels — an active asana class in the morning, and a restorative and pranayama practice in the evening. As the week progresses, we will build upon a steady foundation of fundamental principles, towards a deeper, more refined practice that addresses individual needs, and develops each student’s skills and abilities. If you have any physical issues or injuries, we will help you modify for them.
