We invite you to join us on the island of Møn, Denmark — a place of vast skies, ancient cliffs, and deep stillness — for a retreat that weaves together Iyengar Yoga, creative exploration and spacious rest.
The retreat will take place at Strandgården, a Danish farmhouse situated on the Baltic Sea, just steps from the beach (Rabylile Strand). It is a peaceful, soulful place to relax and reconnect to yourself and your creativity.
During the course of the retreat, we will explore how the body's alignment, rhythm and felt sense can open pathways to deeper creative expression. Through the mindful awareness created in the asana and pranayama practices, the body becomes a place to listen rather than push; a vehicle for creative expression to unfold naturally.
Each morning, we will move through an intelligent, grounding yoga practice, followed by breakfast under the trees. We will reconvene in the afternoon to dedicate ourselves to the creative process, reflection and the simple act of being present. Evenings will offer gentle, restorative practices, shared conversation over dinner, and time to let the nervous system soften. The intention is not to "produce," but to experience how creativity grows when the body feels grounded, regulated and awake.
Between sessions, there will be time to savor the afterglow of your practice in the unspoiled island setting — relaxing at the farmhouse, going for a swim, taking a walk along the Baltic Sea, or exploring Møn’s gorgeous woodlands and meadows. A bit further afield is the historic town of Stege, the quaint village of Nyord, and the famously stunning Møns Klint (White Cliffs of Møn).
This retreat is designed for artists, the art-curious, and anyone longing for a slower rhythm. No art background is required — only a desire to reconnect with yourself and the world around you. All levels of yoga practitioners are welcome.
On the retreat, will explore:
Daily yoga classes taught by Eve Holbrook and Liza Toft.
The relationship between practice, perception, and artistic expression
Quiet "studio" hours for painting, writing, or your personal creative process, guided by Liza Toft.
Walks along Mon Klint and moments of solitude in nature including exploring Mon's gorgeous woodlands and meadows, or simply relaxing at the farmhouse.
Community, nourishment, and renewal
If you feel called to restore your body, re-ignite your creative life, and experience the beauty of Møn with us, we would be honored to share this retreat with you.

$1,675 - shared room
$1,800 - single room
*An Early Bird Discount of $100 is available through February 1, 2026.
The price includes all yoga classes, three lovingly-prepared, organic vegetarian meals per day, seven nights accommodations, and use of Strandgården’s grounds. It does not include art materials/supplies, airfare and ground transportation.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Our accommodations are elegant and charming, along with being rustic and humble. In order to help keep costs low, the farmhouse has a minimal staff. Therefore, retreat participants engage in very basic "yogi jobs" like setting the table, rinsing dishes, loading the dishwasher after meals, and keeping the dining area tidy. Sharing the workload is an ancient and noble tradition that is meant to be considered a part of our practice.
In pure old Danish farmhouse form, there are no ensuite bathrooms. There are three large bathrooms to be shared by the group of 12.
TO REGISTER:
Please fill out and submit this registration form, noting your room preference (private or shared), and we will confirm availability and send payment instructions. A $500 deposit is required to hold your space in our retreat at Strandgården. Full payment is due on May 3, 2026.
*An Early Bird Discount of $100 is available through February 1st, 2026
